Numéro thématique célébrant le 20ième anniversaire de la revue European Foreign Affairs Review

« Transatlantic Leadership in a Global Perspective »

Thematic issue celebrating the 20th anniversary of European Foreign Affairs Review.

European Foreign Affairs Review is proud to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a topical issue dedicated to Transatlantic Leadership in a Global Perspective. Transatlantic leadership is understood here in the sense of the capacity of the EU and the US to exercise joint influence in international affairs by convincing other actors, countries, and organisations, to cooperate towards objectives which both the EU and the US perceive as important. Does such a kind of leadership exist? The anniversary issue explores this from the viewpoint of historical predisposition and actual value convergence or divergence,  as well as from the viewpoint of current affairs, presenting EU and US perspectives on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and an on the Transatlantic Alliance. Transatlantic Leadership is in evolution, both seen from the viewpoint of the EU and from that of the US. The bundle is introduced by its three editors, Professors Sieglinde Gstöhl, Jorg Monar and Nanette Neuwahl, and is preceded by a foreword of Cecilia Malmström, EU Commissioner for Trade.
