La graine et le mulet, film français de 2007 d'Abdellatif Kechiche, plusieurs fois primé (César du meilleur film et du meilleur réalisateur), est actuellement à l'affiche au Cinéma du Quartier Latin.
Si le titre vous semble un peu simpliste voire loufouque, sachez que la trame du film repose sur ces cinq mots. Ne vous y trompez pas, la graine ici signifie la semoule de couscous ; quant au mulet, il n'a rien à voir avec l'animal à quatre pattes puisqu'il s'agit de poisson.
L'histoire débute sur la situation d'un homme immigré, la soixantaine vieillissante, licencié après 35 ans de labeur. Pour s'en sortir il élabore un projet (un peu trop) ambitieux dans lequel il sera aidé pour tous ses proches.
Les femmes ont une place d'honneur dans ce long métrage indépendamment de leur âge et de leur beauté.
Durant 2h30, vous partagerez la vie de famille bruyante et pétillante de Slemane et vous passerez chaque minute à espérer ...
L'authencité de ce film est frappante. Un bon choix pour votre vidéothèque.
